My love for jewelry began nearly 20 years ago at Turkoyz, a local jewelry store where I worked throughout high school and college. The owner, Alan Weeks, became a mentor, a friend, and like family. After a long battle with cancer, the Lord called him home, but his influence has stayed with me ever since.

When I began dreaming about this business, I knew I wanted to honor Alan in some way. One night, I was reminded of how he recited Psalm 118:24 each morning:

“This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

In that quiet moment, I felt the Lord speaking to me through those words — and Studio 118 was born. My hope is that every piece you wear carries a bit of that light and meaning with it — a daily reminder to rejoice and be glad in the day the Lord has made.
